DSOD Dancer's
of the Year 2026

From Left to Right: Danielle Tomison- Inspirational Dancer of the year, Brooke Hiatt- 2026 Dancer of the Year

Brooke Hiatt is so grateful for her time as a dancer at Debbie's School of Dance! She has been dancing at Debbie's since she was 5 years old, and has been on team since she was 8. She has performed with two professional dance companies, Catalyst and Emme Dance Collective. She was also a cast member in 4 Solanco High School musicals, The Secret Garden, Guys and Dolls, Godspell, and Into the Woods. She was able to share her love for dance with the community through musical theater.
Brooke has loved every second of her time at Debbie's School of Dance and
will always hold close the friendships and memories she has made throughout
the years. Brooke would like to thank her coaches for their endless support and for always pushing her to be better, and her teammates for the infinite laughs and tears that they've shared. Brooke would also like to thank her parents for always supporting her passion for dancing! A highlight of her dance career has been being the 2025/2026 Team Captain, and she is so grateful for the many leadership opportunities that title has brought her! Brooke will always hold her love for dance close to her heart and will use the life skills she has learned through dance indefinitely. Brooke will be attending Montana State University this fall. She also hopes to continue to make her love of performing a part of her life!

DSOD Recital Student Release Policy

Our goal at the recital performance is to create a positive and happy experience for all of our students, families, and guests. We are committed to providing an enjoyable atmosphere at our dance recital performance.

All of our teachers, staff, and volunteers are professional and caring with your children. We are committed to the safety of all of our students and have your child’s best interests at heart. To ensure the safe and enjoyable running of our dance recital, Debbie’s School Of Dance implements the following student release policy:

It remains the policy of Debbie’s School Of Dance to release only pre-ballet students (ages 3-4 years) during intermission at the recital. These students are released to their parent or guardian only if a written note has been received from the student’s parent or guardian by May 30th. Any change (after deadline) regarding student pick up, including “second” parent pick up must be submitted in writing and signed by both parents. No notes will be accepted the day of the dress rehearsal or the recital. All other students must remain back stage until the recital performance is over. Recital efforts can be hectic backstage. We hope you understand that with so many students and for everyone’s safety, we cannot release them at any time.

Any parent who chooses not to respect our student release policy will be prohibited from registering their child for dance in the future.

THIS IS MANDATORY FOR ALL DANCERS. Please confirm your receipt and review of the DSOD student release policy below. Approval by BOTH parents/guardians is required and DUE by May 30! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with your children!
