DSOD Dancer's
of the Year 2025

From Left to Right: Hannah Perella- Inspirational Dancer of the year, Ellie Swinehart- 2025 Dancer of the Year

Ellie is elated to perform in her final dance recital! It will be a sentimental one, as she has been a dancer at Debbie’s School of Dance since she was three years old. She has had the pleasure of being part of the competition team for eight years, and the honor of being this year’s team captain! Ellie is thankful for this leadership experience, as it has brought her great joy. She has enjoyed fulfilling this position and uplifting her teammates. She is very proud of all the girls performing tonight, as well as the coaches who have worked selflessly to make this recital happen. Ellie would like to express her deepest heartfelt gratitude to her parents for their unrelenting encouragement and constant presence
throughout her dance career, which has been a true inspiration. A special thanks
to her dance coaches who have been a constant source of encouragement,
sharing their expertise, passion, and love to help her reach her full potential
through dedication and hard work. And to her dance team members for their
dedication and trust in each other. The laughter and friendships made are truly
irreplaceable! After high school, Ellie has been accepted into the honors program
at Elizabethtown College.

DSOD Recital Student Release Policy

Our goal at the recital performance is to create a positive and happy experience for all of our students, families, and guests. We are committed to providing an enjoyable atmosphere at our dance recital performance.

All of our teachers, staff, and volunteers are professional and caring with your children. We are committed to the safety of all of our students and have your child’s best interests at heart. To ensure the safe and enjoyable running of our dance recital, Debbie’s School Of Dance implements the following student release policy:

It remains the policy of Debbie’s School Of Dance to release only pre-ballet students (ages 3-4 years) during intermission at the recital. These students are released to their parent or guardian only if a written note has been received from the student’s parent or guardian by May 30th. Any change (after deadline) regarding student pick up, including “second” parent pick up must be submitted in writing and signed by both parents. No notes will be accepted the day of the dress rehearsal or the recital. All other students must remain back stage until the recital performance is over. Recital efforts can be hectic backstage. We hope you understand that with so many students and for everyone’s safety, we cannot release them at any time.

Any parent who chooses not to respect our student release policy will be prohibited from registering their child for dance in the future.

THIS IS MANDATORY FOR ALL DANCERS. Please confirm your receipt and review of the DSOD student release policy below. Approval by BOTH parents/guardians is required and DUE by May 30! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with your children!
