Recital Information

At the conclusion of every dance year, DSOD celebrates the accomplishments of its dancers at the annual recital. Each class, from our beginners to our most advanced groups, as well as teams, solos, duets, and small groups will perform in full costume and makeup. The recital is divided into two evenings and performed at Solanco High School. Click below for the current recital schedule, ticket information, and updates.

DSOD Dancer
of the Year

Madison is a 16 year old senior dance team member and attends Solanco High School. She’s been dancing at Debbie’s for 12 years and her favorite styles include jazz and tap. She also helps out at the studio by assisting the beginner tap class.

Not only does Madison excel in dance but she thrives in her high school career as well. She is as smart as she is talented while taking four AP classes this year. She is also involved in link crew, renaissance club, NHS, color guard dance squad, the fall play, musicals, and prom committee. She has been honored with the Art Solanco Scholar Award and last year she received the Science Solanco Scholar award.

This upcoming season Madison is most excited to perform her two solos at competition!

“My favorite part about dance is being able to express myself without words through movement and artistry.”

DSOD Recital Student Release Policy

Our goal at the recital performance is to create a positive and happy experience for all of our students, families, and guests. We are committed to providing an enjoyable atmosphere at our dance recital performance.

All of our teachers, staff, and volunteers are professional and caring with your children. We are committed to the safety of all of our students and have your child’s best interests at heart. To ensure the safe and enjoyable running of our dance recital, Debbie’s School Of Dance implements the following student release policy:

It remains the policy of Debbie’s School Of Dance to release only pre-ballet students (ages 3-4 years) during intermission at the recital. These students are released to their parent or guardian only if a written note has been received from the student’s parent or guardian by May 30th. Any change (after deadline) regarding student pick up, including “second” parent pick up must be submitted in writing and signed by both parents. No notes will be accepted the day of the dress rehearsal or the recital. All other students must remain back stage until the recital performance is over. Recital efforts can be hectic backstage. We hope you understand that with so many students and for everyone’s safety, we cannot release them at any time.

Any parent who chooses not to respect our student release policy will be prohibited from registering their child for dance in the future.

THIS IS MANDATORY FOR ALL DANCERS. Please confirm your receipt and review of the DSOD student release policy below. Approval by BOTH parents/guardians is required and DUE by May 30! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with your children!
