Competition Teams
Debbie's School of Dance established its competitive dance team in 2011 and it has since grown to be a group that participates in several regional and national dance competitions. Being a member of the dance team requires a great deal of time and effort and is for serious dancers only. For audition information click below.
Team Member Expectations

Team members should have personal goals of increasing their dance ability and gaining performance opportunities at the next level.

Dancers must exhibit good sportsmanship and a positive attitude.

Team members need to be respectful and serve as role models to other dancers.

Students on team are required to take concurrent ballet and jazz classes.

Team members are required to take a summer dance intensive to improve technique.

Students with a high technical level, those who are willing to work hard, and/or are highly dedicated to their craft should sign up to attend the audition.

Mini Team
Mini Team is for the dancer who has an understanding of basic ballet and jazz movements. This dancer is able to keep time with the music and remember choreography when on stage. Mini Team dancers can focus and stay on task while in class. They have a good attitude and are willing to learn new things! Ages 5-7.
